Carolina Pottery is currently seeking an organized, reliable and efficient full time Shipping/Receiving/Delivery Driver for our Myrtle Beach, SC location. You will be responsible for unloading delivery trucks and compare received products from packing list to our company purchase orders. You will also be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting merchandise to our customers and transporting merchandise to other store locations using our company vehicle. You will also be responsible with assisting of putting furniture together, working on the sales floor.

Responsibilities:

Shipping and Receiving Associate Responsibilities

• Provide professional and excellent customer service.
• Receive products from vendor deliveries and unload trucks at the loading dock.
• Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure the products in each delivery matches the packing list.
• Making deliveries to customers in timely manner using conpany vehicle.
• Assemble furniture.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Shipping and Receiving Associate Experiencie:

• High School diploma/GED required.
• Valid driver's license for 10 years or more with clean driving record.
• 2+ years shipping and receiving experience.
• Must be able to pass a physical. Be able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Microsoft Excel and Word experience preferred.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
