Customer Service Associate

We are currently seeking Customer Service Associates for our Smithfield, NC location. You will be the face of our customers' positive shopping experience and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.


Responsibilities:

Provide professional and excellent customer service.

  • Greet Customers as they enter the store.
  • Answer telephone with professional, friendly greeting; send calls to the appropriate department.
  • Process Returns/Exchanges in accordance with Carolina Pottery Return Policy.
  • Process tax exempt customer applications.
  • Assist with customer complaints/issues.
  • Assist cashiers as needed.
  • Responsible for front line, ensuring checkout lines do not become too long.
  • Maintain a professional, friendly demeanor with customers.
  • Keep front end free of clutter (shopping carts, trash, etc.).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Retail Experience Preferred
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities
  • Must be reliable
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to pass a background check

Compensation:

$9.00 - $11.00
