How to Make a Beautiful Silk Flower Pot
Learn how to container-garden with Silk flowers!
What You’ll Need:
- Clay pot
- Floral Styrofoam
- Greenery Picks
- Spillage
- Filler
- Height (thrill)
- Floral Bushes and picks
- Spillage
- Filler
- Height (thrill)
- Metal Yard Decoration in spring theme
- Moss for covering where styrofoam is still visible.
Directions:
- Fill your clay pot with styrofoam making sure there is enough for all the picks and stems you will be using.
- Decide out full you would like your container to look, and choose greenery and floral pieces accordingly. Make sure to choose ones that spill down over the edge of the pot, some lower pieces that fill the middle space of the arrangement, and a few elements that rise up over the arrangement to give it height, or thrill.
- Place stems and bushes of greenery down into the styrofoam. There’s no need to glue or anything!
- After spreading out and situating all of your floral elements, add a metal yard ornament in any theme you would like! We chose a metal bird yard sign to place in our container garden for spring time, but you can theme your container for summer, fall, or even winter!
